This duct did not fit well before the insulation was applied. When the foam was sprayed above the duct, the expanding foam crushed the duct at the supports and pushed the remained of the duct below the ceiling joists. Installing drywall over this would be a feat of engineering.

This duct did not fit well before the insulation was applied. When the foam was sprayed above the duct, the expanding foam crushed the duct at the supports and pushed the remained of the duct below the ceiling joists. Installing drywall over this would be a feat of engineering.
